Eat, drink and be merry at the Schartner Hotel
Opened back in 1986, the ‘Bierstube’ – literally meaning ‘tavern’ or ‘ale house’ – quickly gained legendary status in the market town of Altenmarkt and played host to plenty of nights which will live long in the memory.
In the summer of 2009 the time had come for a change, so it was decided to re-design the bar and come up with a newer, more contemporary look. The result? A traditionally cosy Austrian bar with a modern twist! Among the new features is a direct connection from the restaurant area to the bar, and with increased seating there is now even more space to relax with friends over a drink.
